TEDxAmsterdam 2011
Unfortunately not everyone could get a ticket to
experience all the performances and talks. Therefore the team of
World of Minds, aHa!Coaching and Hypershifters offered to
facilitate this event with LiveMindMapping using
MindMeister online technology.
During the talks live mind maps were created and
simultaneously posted to the web. This enabled all TED fans
at home, the office or wherever to not only watch the live video
and twitter stream but also a live mind map stream on the
web! Seeing a live mind map stream helps you to focus
on the main and subtopics while not losing sight of the
bigger picture. It also stimulates you to associates
freely because a mind map visualisation stimulates the
right and left half of your brain to work more closely together.
Research has pointed out that this increases your
creativity, problem solving ability and enhances your
memory capabilities.
How to view the talks on this site:
- You can browse the talks via the branches. The
first one starts at 1 o' clock (upper right).
The order of the branches is clockwise.
- If the cursor sits on a branche and a little
hand appears instead of the cursor, the branchtopic is clickable.
It's also possible to use the 'previous' and 'next' buttons on top
of the page to navigate.
- The return button (<---) allows you to
navigate to the previous page/level of the mindmap.
